Artist Comments: Surface dwellers have been driven underground by the lunar rain and other horrors visited upon the earth. This has aroused the interest of the awful Stygian Horror, who enjoys toying with intelligent creatures until they are quite dead. And then he eats them. Stake, anyone? Steak. Yeah. That's what I meant.
