Title: Niles in Black
Artist Comments: I had a lot of fun working on this very small portrait of Niles in Black. Niles is a strange spirit of indeterminable age; he walks in the realm of Twilight, just out of the reach of mortal consciousness. From here, he manipulates lives. Like others of his kind, he is drawn to tragedy and strong emotion. Sometimes you may catch them out of the corner of your eye, or hear their voices like a distant dream, but you can never really be sure, can you? Niles himself is a bit like an anti-cupid, focusing on youthful relationships. This piece is made from solid Super Sculpey and painted with acrylic paints.
