Artist Comments: I did this with the intention of casting it in plaster. I am happy to say that I have made my first successful mold of this piece! Now if I can just get casting down... :) The mess you see around it is plaster slurry from the mother mold. This is modeling clay on a piece of glass. My intention is to make it a dragon fossil.
